DETROIT — When Twins trainer Nick Paparesta and manager Rocco Baldelli came out to check on Donovan Solano on Tuesday night after his hard slide back into first base, he initially mentioned to them that his knee was bothering him.By Wednesday, it was his right ankle that had swollen and was causing him the most pain. But while the infielder is dealing with a sore knee and ankle, imaging revealed that he avoided serious damage. Solano suffered what Baldelli called a “mild MCL sprain” in the right knee.“Hopefully it’s just some soreness that he’s dealing with for a few days and he can start working his way back, but we’re going to keep assessing him,” Baldelli said. “We’ll play it day to day.”Solano suffered the injury Tuesday after rounding first base aggressively and then having to turn around and race back to the bag to beat a throw. He said he felt and heard something in his knee. He tested it out jogging briefly before exiting the game.“I needed a (MRI) because I’ve never fel...Rotterdam approves new panhandling law
